The property is in a great location, attached to the Paddington station for the National Rail Network and just across the road from the underground network. There are a decent number of places nearby if you want to have a meal and pubs if you just want to hang out for a drink. Although we seemed to have arrived at the hotel at a busy time, the check-in assisted by DAVIDE was smooth, swift and efficient. The room was fairly well appointed and carried the basic amenities for one’s stay. However, even if the thermostat is set at 21 degrees, the temperature is set not to drop below 23. In my opinion, this is acceptable and is a commendable energy saving initiative from the property. I managed to get a good night’s sleep with the air conditioning on, so in my book this box gets checked. The water pressure in the bathroom was very good. Hot and cold water is seamless and the controls easy to understand and operate. There are some pretty good entertainment channels at the Hilton Paddington which can keep you busy should you chose to stay indoors if its raining or otherwise. The Executive Lounge access is a welcome touch for those who want to relax and have a cool beverage or taste the variety of finger foods up for grabs. The breakfast selection is really, really, really good with a wide variety of options. If you want to have a heavy breakfast like I do, then there’s an omelette station in addition to fried eggs, bacon, pork sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, hash browns the list goes on. There’s croissants and other pastries and baked goods, a selection of yoghurts for those who want to “say” they’ve had breakfast. There’s also a selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese and fruit and you can wash it all down with a selection of juices or a hot beverage. Enough to keep me going until late afternoon. DIMITRI runs a smooth ship. The restaurant staff are very attentive, efficient and professional.

We had a very nice large room at the side of the Hotel well away from the traffic and buzz from the front. Beds were very comfortable and all in all a very positive experience. From check in to room upkeep and housekeeping to check out all staff were very charming anxious to please and very helpful. The. left luggage guys were particularly charming and helpful. In overall terms this was a wonderful relaxing stay and definitely a step up from when we last stayed a year ago. Thoroughly recommend this hotel without any reservations at all. Also handily located for visits to theatre/shopping etc with good access to Piccadilly/Bakerloo and Circle lines all literally within 2 minutes walk.

Following our dissatisfaction with our first room we asked to be moved. This was done without fuss and with sympathy and kindness from the staff tab the Reception desk. Excellent (405) room with space, en suite bathroom and effective double glazing. Pleasant decor and good lighting The lounge service was excellent and much appreciated. We noted hat there was no general lounge so this service was very well used by guests who had been offered the facility.

The room that I got was superb. It was a decent-sized room, but I had everything that I needed. I can sleep well and consistently clean. The location was perfect. It's just a walking distance from the central train station, with regular trains scheduled to go to the airport (almost every day except Sunday) and around the city. The breakfast was alright. There was a variety of options. Always best to buy it from the main reception as you get a good deal.

I had a large 'family room' (room with two king-size beds) on my latest stay at the hotel (two nights) for myself and a friend who were attending an event in London . . . room extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent selection for breakfast. All staff I interacted with very pleasant and professional. Hotel location is extremely well placed for getting around London, being immediately adjacent to Paddington Rail and Tube Station.
